A-bombed Tree

Kurogane Holly
(Atago Pond)
  Nakamachi, Naka-ku, Hiroshima (Atago Pond)

  (2024.11.24)
This is the westernmost of the five Kurogane Holly trees.
It has strong roots and the bark looks healthy, but I'm worried about the blackening of the leaves.

The tree to the east of the Bead tree
It's looking healthy and full of red berries.
Perhaps because it's hugging a rock, it has many branches from the base.
I think that out of the five trees, this is the most beautiful in terms of shape.

A tree to the north of the Bead tree.
The roots don't protrude much, giving it a slender appearance.
The red berries are few and not very voluminous.

  The easternmost tree.
The trunk isn't very thick, but the branches spread out, giving it a neat shape.

  A tree near the hotel.
Although it has a thin trunk, it is the most gorgeous tree out of the five, bearing the most red berries.
The branches spread out and are layered, giving the tree a sense of volume.
